The Tour de Fer is a bike designed for the sole purpose of carrying rider and luggage long distances efficiently and in comfort. Built with rugged, reliable kit that will last the high mileage for which the bike is intended to be used. This is typical of the touring bikes we have on hire.

Everyday practicalities like large volume, puncture resistant Schwalbe Marathon tyres, tough 36H wheelset, powerful, controlled disc brakes, Tubus Cargo rear rack and custom length and extra-long Chromoplastic mudguards. Tour de Fer 10 is just as suited as a daily commuter as it is a cross-continent tourer.

Our touring bikes are top quality bikes that are comfortable to ride and quickly will cover any distance you want to ride. Up over hills or along the shore, these bikes will let you focus on the important part, enjoying the views that you have travelled to see!

We will also supply a helmet and a hi-viz vest if you do not have your own. Each bike comes complete with lockable transmaission and battery
